Song for Sumi

Kaitlin Ridgway, a music therapist, from the Hospice of Michigan who comes to play music for Sumi on every other Thursdays, wrote and composed this wonderful, heart touching song.
It is based on the English translation of my Hindi poem which I wrote about seven years ago on the eve of Sumi’s 63
rd birthday in 2017. Hindi poem and the English translations are on the page 15 of My Journey with Sumi book (reproduced all the way down).
Kaitlin creatively improvised my English translation and molded it into her lyrics but kept the essence of it by putting her soul into it (please click below to listen).
